A Designer Dinner, what dreams are made of

Ever wondered what it would be like to welcome some of the biggest names in interiors into your own home! This is what Noor Charchafchi, Director of Celine Estates did in October this year at her own home at a private event hosted for 10 of London's top Interior Designers.

Interior Designer Dinner 1

Preparation for the event was filled with excitement, adrenaline and nerves. For an interior designer to host other designers, the pressure is definitely on. Flowers were arranged by London's top florists, a spread of dusty pink bouquets accented with petite vases and laid in amongst a beautiful arrangement of the most luxurious sculptural candles with gold inlays from Patrick Coard in Paris. The dinner set was carefully selected, with the intention of bringing the autumn warmth and elegance into the table. Gold leaves scattered the delicate dinner ware set that came from Amara, made by Vera Wang for Wedgewood. An extra sprinkle of gold was added in the beautiful cutlery set gifted by Amara and made by the company and the plates were adorned with stunning song bird napkin holders from l'objet and the finest napkins made by Weissfie with embroidered corners of gold leaves.

Interior Designer Dinner 2

The dining table itself was re-finished days in advance of the dinner to ensure it's quality sparkled and was fit for queens on the evening of the designer studded event. The exceptional hand painted wall coverings sitting as a backdrop to the dinner table were refreshed a day before the dinner with a specialist painter on site for 8 hours re-painting each tiny flower and bird to bring them into focus on the night.

Interior Designer Dinner 4

Each designer was offered a gift of a beautiful scented Celine Estates candle (in advance of the launch of this same candles) and a printed card filled with secret questions that would be discussed between the group that evening! A night to remember and hopefully to be repeated by the same group who would be taking turns to host similar events every few months.
