The London Interior Design scene in 2020

February 19, 2020

The London Interior Design sector has always been an incredibly interesting space, with some of the most exquisitely made furniture suppliers to source from as well as incredible art and design events and a booming and much talked about property market, as well as world class innovative designers to wrap it all up.

Is the London interior design luxury landscape changing from within? With a vengeance, absolutely, and it is evolving in ways that would have previously been unthinkable. From big designer collaborations with other brands both established and less well known, social media account followings soaring sky high, and strong friendships and business bonds being made within the industry, the internet and technology are not the only things progressing at an unprecedented speed.

The industry has definitely become a more open, supportive and welcoming space. Designers are consciously working to raise their design standards and by doing so forcing everyone to do the same. This really does mean a real focus on not just the work that we do as designers but the direct effect of our work on our clients and even those watching us execute and deliver it.

Backed by new internet platforms and social media, the industry as a whole, designers, press publications, trades people, service men and women, suppliers and even tech assistance and support are all coming together to create a more powerful design industry that is growing it is own roaring voice and one that is becoming impossible to ignore!
